Ranbir Kapoor wanted Katrina Kaif on board ‘Besharam’?

Mumbai: They grabbed eyeballs when they had a vacation in Spain a few days back and were often spotted in each other’s company prior to their European tour.
Ranbir Kapoor, the current heartthrob of bollywood, and Katrina Kaif may have maintained stoic silence about their alleged relationship, but the two can do little to keep it under wraps.
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Bollywood’s youngest “big thing” had apparently wanted his ‘Besharam’ director Abhinav Kashyap to take Katrina on board. But the filmmaker stuck to his guns and signed newbie Pallavi Sharda to play the lead opposite Ranbir in the film.
According to a leading daily, Kashyap shares a special bond with Sharda and hence took her in the film instead of Katrina, despite Ranbir’s insistence.
RK and Kat have shared screen space in rom-com ‘Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani’ and have also been a part of Prakash Jha’s multi-starrer political drama ‘Rajneeti’. It seems that the duo will have to wait a little longer to sizzle on the silverscreen again!
