What happens when three urban yuppies go in search of love? Yes, there are fights, misunderstandings and heartbreaks. Luv Ranjan’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ revolves around three bachelors, who go in search of true love, which ultimately turns out to be quite messy. Starrting Rayo Bhakirta, Kartikey Tiwari, Divyendu Sharma, Nusrat Barucha, Sonali Sehgal and Ishita, the movie revolves around the clichéd formula of love where guys come to realise that after all the wild-goose chase, girls are truly from Venus. The film touches upon the predicament of modern day relationships, where love is transient in nature and to top it all, the lack of knowledge of today’s youth when it comes to mature emotions. ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ revolves around three guys and their views upon love, who readily agree to give up their friendship and find themselves incapable of coping up with the never-ending demands of their feisty girlfriends. Overall, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ looks tedious due to unending skirmishes between warring couples, which makes it dull and quite boring. In terms of storyline and plot, constant break-up and patch-up between couples looks all the more annoying, where men blame women for utter chaos in their lives. And yes, the film promises fun but by and large, it leaves you high and dry. Ratings: Two cheers for this one!
