Rohit Roy wanted A.K. Hangal for `Shaukeen` remake

Hangal played Inder Sen, one of the three old men in the Basu Chatterjee movie, which also features Ashok Kumar and Utpal Dutt.
Rohit was set to direct a new age version of the movie, with Bipasha Basu in the lead, and wished Hangal could have shot a cameo for it. "The dream of having one of the golden oldies feature in my version of `Shaukeen` will remain a dream with Hangal saab`s passing away," tweeted Rohit. Hangal passed away Sunday morning following prolonged illness. He was 97. IANS
