Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Agent Vinod’ in a production mess
Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan’s most ambitious venture ‘Agent Vinod’ is turning out to be a jinxed project all thanks to the bungling production team of the film.
Buzz has it that the cast and crew of the film got stranded in Morrocco as the production team forgot to book their return tickets. As if this was not enough, this time around, the production team did one of the biggest goof-ups. Talking to a news daily, a unit member of the film said, “During the Morrocco schedule 60 per cent of the film stock that was taken from India got fogged (spoilt) because it was put through the X-ray machine at the Dubai airport. The production team wasn’t aware that the raw stock gets exposed if it’s passed through the machine.”
It is believed that Saif’s co-producer Dinesh Vijan came to the rescue and called his friends in India to immediately arrange extra stock from London. Yet, the production team goofed up once again.
“Half of the raw stock that was called from the London got fogged in the same way since it was also put through the X-ray machine at the airport. The production team forgot to warn the person who was getting it from London not to repeat the same mistake. Such incidents can be avoided if the stocks are sent by the courier services,” added the source.
Indeed, the laxity on the part of ‘Agent Vinod’ production team led to huge losses apart from jeopardising the shoot of the film. Meanwhile, when contacted the co-producer of the film, Dinesh Vijan said, “I am not in India; will call you back.”
