Mumbai: “Salman Khan thinks he made my brother`s life, hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2”, blurted Anurag Kashyap at the time of Abhinay Kashyap’s ouster from the blockbuster’s sequel. But, it’s been a while now since that issue cropped up which was surprisingly a short-lived tirade.
The latest has it that Anurag Kashyap has once again dared to take the original ‘Dabangg’, Salman Khan, head on. The director-producer has announced the release date of his forthcoming film ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’ on September 2nd. Incidentally, Salman`s ‘Bodyguard’ is slated to hit screens the same day.
However, Anurag doesn’t seem to be having any jitters what so ever, he’s super confident about TGYB. The film, a thriller, reportedly has been screened at various prestigious films festivals and has a good buzz in international film festivals.
Meanwhile, ‘Bodyguard’ is a Hindi remake of a South film. It brings Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor together after ‘Main Aur Mrs. Khanna ‘.
