Mumbai: Looks like Salman Khan is turning out to be the king of sequels. After the announcement of the sequel of his super successful film ‘Dabangg’, Salman is now planning a sequel for ‘Chillar Party’.
After the success of the children’s film which released last month and received great reviews from critics, Salman is all set to dive into the bandwagon of sequels.
However, UTV Productions which is more concerned with doing individual projects at the moment seem to be a little skeptical of Salman’s idea.
But it seems Sallu is has taken charge of his career as a producer seriously and he is not just planning one sequel to ‘Chillar Party’ but two.
Salman was rather miffed with UTV as they gave more importance to commercial films like ‘Delhi Belly’ and ignored to pay equivalent attention to kids flick ‘Chillar Party’.
Vikas Bahl, co-director of the film, confirmed to a daily, "We actually shot the film two years ago. And when Salman came into the picture the kids were again back into action.
They bonded so well with Salman, that it would be heartbreaking for them if he had moved on."
On Salman coming on-board for the two sequels, he added, "Yes we`ve written two more screenplays for the Chillar Party series.
Vikas Bahl and writer-director Nitesh Tiwari are also in the process of writing fourth script for ‘Chillar Party’ and Salman has made it clear that he wants to be on board for all the series to come.
