Salman Khan’s ‘Wanted 2’ shelved indefinitely
Mumbai: Salman Khan is a one man army. The man single handedly gave last year’s most successful film in ‘Wanted’ which raked in enough moolah to make gunny bags ringing for the filmmakers to decide upon a probable sequel.
However, fans of Sallu would be immensely disappointed to know that ‘Wanted 2’ has been stalled. With the actor on a signing spree of back-to-back action-oriented films, Boney Kapoor has decided to put the sequel to ‘Wanted’ on hold.
Talking to a news daily, Boney Kapoor reasons, “How many action films can I do with Salman? He’s already doing ‘Mr India-2’ with me where he plays the arch-villain and would perform some spectacular stunts.”
Boney Kapoor further illustrates that Salman Khan is already decked up for the production of ‘No Entry-2’ and is, moreover, committed to so many other projects with so many other producers.
An industry insider has confirmed that Salman will first make the sequel to ‘No Entry’ which Boney hopes to complete and release by early next year.
Boney on the other hand said, ‘The entire cast from the earlier film is back this time as well. We’ll also be signing three new girls this time.’ No Entry-2 will be titled ‘Be Positive’, after Anil Kapoor’s character’s idiosyncrasy.”
He may not be doing ‘Wanted’’s sequel, but Sallu bhai is surely wanted by one and all.
