Salman to take action tips from Philippe Guegan for ‘Kick’
Mumbai: Salman Khan might be hailed as Bollywood’s fitness guru with many aspiring actors queuing up to take bodybuilding tips from the macho Khan, but the actor himself is looking for some training to enhance his action hero image. Believe it or not, but for his next film ‘Kick’, Salman will be trained and guided by Hollywood hot-shot action master Philippe Guegan.
A French maestro, Guegan is known for thrilling action sequences in western blockbusters like ‘The Transporter’, ‘The Kiss of the Dragon’, ‘Rush Hour 3’, ‘Taken’ and ‘Hitman’. And getting Guegan for a project is no easy feat.
As per reports, Sajid Nadiadwala is spending a bomb to get Philippe Guegan on-board for ‘Kick’. Confirming the news, a source said, “Nadiadwala has persuaded Guegan to fly down to Mumbai to train Salman for stunts never seen in Hindi films.”
Talking about his grand plans, Nadiadwala said, "For ‘Kick’ we needed to take the action to another level, not just for Salman but also for Indian cinema. Yes, Philippe Guegan has agreed to come down to Mumbai in September and personally train Salman."
As for who suggested Guegan, it was none other than Salman. “He felt the only way his action sequences in Kick could go beyond Wanted and Dabangg was to get someone of international caliber,” added the source.
