Mumbai: People in Bollywood swear by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s friendship as they are thick friends come hail come storm.
Despite the ugly spat the two old pals had in the past, Salman and Sanjay have reconciled. And an adamant person that he is, Salman insists on having Sanjay on board for his film `Bodyguard` and wants him to play his father!
Talking to a tabloid, a source said, "Salman had actually made the offer of his father`s role to Sanju two days earlier, and the latter just laughed it off.
At the party last Thursday, he brought it up again. This time, Sanju lost his cool and an angry scene ensued."
Salman, who doesn’t like to hear “NO” for an answer is someone who would do anything for his friends and also knows how to get his work done.
“Salman is not being unrealistic or spiteful by offering Dutt his father`s role.
Salman is the kind of person who would do anything for a friend. If Dutt asked him to play a walk-on part in a film, Salman wouldn`t think twice before doing it. So he sees nothing wrong in offering Dutt his father`s role, and he won`t take a no for an answer," added the source.
Reportedly, the reason why Salman wants Sanju Baba to play his father in `Bodyguard` is because the role demands a very well built personality who has a huge appeal. In the film, Salman looks up to his father and even in real life Salman adores his dear friend Dutt very much.
