Mumbai: Filmmaker Mani Shankar plans to make a film on Baba Ramdev and has confirmed to a daily that Sanjay Dutt will be a part of the film. Mani Shankar, who is very close to Baba Ramdev, is extremely moved by the yoga guru`s campaign against corruption. The movie will reportedly include the recent midnight incident when Delhi police disrupted Baba’s fast at the Ramlila grounds. Baba had to flee from the venue. Mani is now closely studying Baba’s life and work so that the depiction on the screen is close to reality. The director, who`s previous film ‘Knock Out’, said, "I was fired by Baba`s public stance to get back the money stashed away abroad. It inspired me to think of the story of KO. Now, I have a new script that looks at the idea of corruption and politicians from Baba Ramdev`s perspective." The film will feature Shankar`s favourite actor Sanjay Dutt. However, the big question remains if Sanju will be essaying Ramdev character in the film or not. "He will never say no to me. I can`t tell you at the moment what he will play in my film. This much I can say, Sanju exudes the purity to play Baba," the filmmaker added.
