Shah Rukh Khan all geared up for Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’

After showing his calibre in India’s fastest Rs 100-crore grosser - ‘Chennai Express’, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly ready to start working for his friend Farah Khan’s much-awaited project ‘Happy New Year’.

New Delhi: After showing his calibre in India’s fastest Rs 100-crore grosser - ‘Chennai Express’, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly ready to start working for his friend Farah Khan’s much-awaited project ‘Happy New Year’. According to an entertainment website, it was filmmaker Farah who tweeted the proceedings of her upcoming project and confirmed the shooting will start soon. She also tweeted that not only she has finished the costume trial with SRK for the movie, but has also recorded a song with composer Vishal Dadlani. “Just finished costume trials with @iamsrk ..wah sir,kya look invent hua hain..,” Farah tweeted. “N then a very late nite recording with @VishalDadlani ..wah kya gaana banaya hain aapne...,” she added. The movie, which will go on floors from September 1, comes with a heavy star cast- comprising SRK, Sonu Sood, Abhishekh Bachchan and Boman Irani. There are rumours that Deepika Padukone will be roped in to play the female lead in the movie. Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, who have given two hit movies together ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’, are leaving no stone unturned to make this one a blockbuster too. The movie, which is being jointly produced by Gauri Khan and Farah Khan, is rumoured to release on Diwali next year. Well, we hope this one crosses Chennai Express’ Box-Office collection.
