Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s home production ‘Ra.One’ is getting bigger by the day. The actor cum producer is reportedly leaving no stones unturned to make ‘Ra.One’ an international success. And after roping Akon to sing a song for the flick, SRK has now got German composer Hans Zimmer onboard to put together the background score of the film.
Hans Zimmer, as many know is a recognised talent in Hollywood and has composed music for hits like ‘The Lion King’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’, ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Inception’.
Confirming the news, a source from the unit said, “Shah Rukh has roped in a lot of foreign technicians for his sci-fi flick. He wants the film to be of international standards. It was his director Anubhav Sinha who suggested Hans Zimmer’s name for the background score. Anubhav took the help of his contacts to arrange for a meeting between Hans and SRK. With time, Hans agreed to come on board.”
And if sources are to be believed, Hans has refused several Bollywood offers in the past. Nevertheless King Khan’s charms seem to have won Hans over.
