Shahid Kapoor admits he has an eccentric side to him
Mumbai: If we go by the looks of Shahid Kapoor, the image invoked is that of a chocolate boy; however the actor doesn’t seem to be too fond of the label. Shahid, whose frankness remains one of his hallmarks, spoke his mind when he admitted that he has an eccentric side to him.
Shahid, who at the moment is busy shooting his home production ‘Mausam’ confessed that unusual odd roles excite him as he can relate with such characters naturally.
Marred with controversies around his personal life as well as professional one at times, Shahid agreed that film ‘Kaminey’ remains one of the closest to his heart for the sheer reason that it dwells upon his eccentric side. And the actor said that his next ‘Mausam’ too unveils his ‘not-so-explored’ (read eccentric) side of his so he is pretty excited about this film.
Talking about his love for eccentric roles, Shahid said, "In ‘Kaminey’ my character had eccentric shades. I must admit that such roles have always excited me. In ‘Mausam’, the fact that I`m playing the role of a fighter pilot gives me a new high. It explores a certain trait of my personality that has not been explored before. And I must admit that the film has made me realize that my dad is a far better director than I had imagined. In fact I prefer him as a director than actor."
Well, Shahid’s latest revelation might not help in changing his image but it sure would generate a quite a buzz around his upcoming release - ‘Mausam’.
