‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ teaser: Watch Sushant and Parineeti’s unique chemistry

New Delhi: “Does what starts physical always turn into love? And what reaches love, always turn into commitment? How do you figure out?” That is how Yash Raj Films’ latest quirky film introduces itself to the audiences. Set in a desi hinterland, the film narrates the story of Raghu (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra). With the age old number ‘Ek Chidiya, Anek Chidiya’ being used as a background score in the teaser, all we can say right now is that ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ is going to be a bag full of offbeat surprises. And we see it as a welcome change from the typical Bollywood romances that we have seen all this while. The movie also stars Rishi Kapoor and debutant Vaani Kapoor. Maneesh Sharma of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ fame has given his direction to the film while Jaideep Sahni has penned the tale. ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ will be Sushant’s second film after Abhishek Kapoor’s critically acclaimed ‘Kai Po Che’, penned by renowned author Chetan Bhagat.
