Mumbai: Even as ‘Rockstar’ has opened to a mixed response, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and the production house Shree Ashtavinayak find themselves embroiled in a new controversy.

Small time actress Ashika Suryavanshi, who was shocked to see herself on screen in a film that was meant to be soft-porn in ‘Rockstar’ has decided to file a complaint against Imtiaz Ali and Ashtavinayak.

Lead actor Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri might have had fun shooting for the ‘Junglee Jawaani’ sequence in Imtiaz Ali`s ‘Rockstar’, but Ashika, the actress who features in the film, apparently is crying hoarse for turning her life into a living hell.

“Ashika has become the butt of all jokes in her friend circle. Her phone hasn`t stopped ringing ever since ‘Rockstar’ released. People have been asking her all sort of lewd questions,” revealed a source.

Miffed with the filmmakers for tarnishing her image, Ashika has now decided to file a complaint against Ali and Ashtavinayak. “I am filing a complaint in CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association) against Imtiaz Ali, Ashtavinayak - the producer of ‘Rockstar’ and the producer of ‘Jungle Love’ Suresh Jain.”

Ashika is even furious with the makers of the film ‘Jungle Love’ – the C-grade film in which she acted in, for giving away the rights to the makers of ‘Rockstar’ without her consent.

Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Jungle Love’ alleged that Ashika had given them a letter of consent, saying that she would have no problem if they gave out some of her scenes to anybody in future.

To this, Ashika shot back, “I have not given any letter like that to anyone.” Imtiaz Ali and Ashtavinayak remained unavailable for comment.
