Sporty John Abraham to produce a film on soccer

Mumbai: Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham may have been out of sight for long now, but the actor is gearing up to revive his career, it seems. According to the latest buzz, John is looking forward to making a film about football, as he`s a huge fan of the game. Well, the actor’s always been very passionate about football, and has also starred in soccer film ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’ previously. And now, John is set to turn producer for the flick based on the game as he is keen to capture the range of emotions that are felt on the football pitch. “I thoroughly enjoy the emotions on the sports field, and love to explore the angst, victory, loss and jealousy on field. I want to present the different connotations of the world of sports,” said John. “My earlier movie on football ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’ could not make it big at the box office. The reason may be it that it was not set in India but in Southall,” added the actor.
