Mumbai: Superstars do make it a point to release their films during festivals to rake in the moolah. And Sunny Deol is no different. The ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ actor is all set to give a tough competition to his colleague Salman Khan, who is planning to release his next this EID. If the latest buzz is anything to go by then Deol is quite keen to release ‘Singh Sahab the Great’ during the festival. According to a tabloid, a source has revealed that Deol is happy with the way his movie is shaping up and feels that Eid would be ideal for the release. “The film is based on a common man’s life and Eid is one of those holidays when the aam aadmi is in a much happier space. Since the significance of this festival is also interpreted as a good time to bring people together in harmony and gratitude, we are aiming for an Eid release,” Deol said while talking to the tabloid. When asked whether he was nervous about the tough competition on the festive date, the 56-year-old actor said “The cinema business has changed. Since there are so many cinema halls, two big films can release at the same time. I am sure no one wants to take over anyone’s business.” Here’s wishing Sunny Paji all the best for his next big release.
