Mumbai: With Bollywood’s original `He-Man` Dharmendra as its patriarch, the Deol family of Tinsel Town seems to be contemplating the launch of its successor. Senior Deol had launched his eldest son Ajay aka Sunny in the 1983 blockbuster `Betaab` and now its time for grandson Karan alias Rocky to sizzle the silver screen.
Grapevine has it that Sunny is thinking of launching his eldest son Karan in `Betaab 2`.
Talking to a tabloid, a source revealed, “Sunny is keen to consolidate their home banner under which he wants to launch Rocky. Though still in the early stages, a lot of ideas have been tossed around. Sunny is contemplating a sequel to introduce his son to B-Town.”
SD is also planning to keep his pending projects on hold so that he could have sufficient time to launch his son.
“Sunny is keen to complete his pending assignments and wait for the right moment to launch his offspring,” the source added.
Karan, who is just 20 years old is keen to get into Bollywood and had also enrolled himself in Rahul Rawail’s acting school.
Filmmaker Rawail was the man who gave Sunny a dream launch. Produced by Vijeta Films (The Deol’s production company), `Betaab` went onto to become one of the super hit films of all times.
After Sunny, Bobby and Abhay, we are sure that fans of this Filmi Khandaan would be eager to see yet another Punjab da Puttar enthrall movie goers.
