New Delhi: The young Shroff is barely a film old and he has bagged the lead in Dharma Production`s upcoming project. `Immortals of Meluha`, which is based on the book by Amish Tripathi by the same name, may have got Tiger Shroff on board for the action mythology set to directed by Karan Malhotra of `Agneepath` fame.
Incidentally, it was rumoured that `Immortals...` was going to be named `Shuddhi`. Now the rumours have been lifted, and reports suggest that `Immortals...` would start filming only after `Shuddhi` is released.
Tiger Shroff has shown to be quite a pro in the action sequences and with his chiselled body is probably a good choice for the warrior lord`s role. However the actor is yet to prove his mettle in acting skills and the Meluha trilogy with it`s intense drama in the book, may require real skills to translate into good cinema.
Shroff has a long way to go to be officially announced as reports suggested that `Immortals of Meluha` would go on floors only after Karan`s `Shuddhi` is released. And with actors not really jumping on to the Karan`s ambitious project, it seems like at least a couple of years away.
