Mumbai: Ace filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj has made Shah Rukh Khan wait until he finishes work with Ajay Devgn. And by doing so, Vishal has comforted Ajay, who was long waiting to avenge the disappointment when SRK superseded him in grabbing a role in Rakesh Roshan’s `Karan Arjun` way back in 1995.
Talking to a daily, a source close to the action star said, “Life has come full circle for Ajay. Shah Rukh had walked into Rakesh Roshan`s `Karan Arjun` (1995) while Devgn was left out in the cold. Ajay now gets comeuppance with Vishal choosing to do his project, effectively putting SRK`s on hold. The director had been spoilt for choice over which project to pick. He has finally made up his mind."
Ajay and SRK have not shared good vibes despite Mrs Devgn being one of King Khan’s best friends. Ajay and Vishal had earlier worked in ‘Omkara’, a film that won several awards. The multi-starrer rustic film was a hardcore serious one while the duo’s second project will be a comedy that will tickle everyone’s funny bone.
"It`s a concept neither has attempted before. Vishal is working solely on this script. He`s currently in his Mussoorie bungalow adding final touches," added the source.
