New Delhi: The complete trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film – the biopic on legendary athlete Milkha Singh – ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was released online a while back. Ever since, the trailer has got about 40,000 views on YouTube and has been appreciated by people across social platforms. In a star studded event in Mumbai, the official trailer of the film was launched by Milkha Singh himself, along with the cast and crew of the film. The full trailer has Farhan Akhtar – in the garb of a turbaned Sardar – voicing his dilemma regarding going to Pakistan. There are snippets of Sonam Kapoor and the chemistry between the two leads is commendable. Farhan Akhtar is seen in a few intense athletic sessions in the trailer, while the song ‘Zinda’ plays in the background. Milkha Singh’s work in the Indian Army too is visible in the trailer. From the looks of it, this seems another biopic on a sportsperson which is to emerge a winner. The last biopic on an athlete, ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ where Irrfan Khan played the eponymous lead, won two National Awards – one for the film and the other for the best actor. Another biopic on a sportsperson that is currently on floors is that on boxer Mary Kom. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s handiwork has Priyanka Chopra playing the lead role. ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is set to hit the theatres July 12. Here’s the trailer:
