Mumbai: The first look of Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Joker’ was released by the film’s producer, Farah Khan on Wednesday evening.
The makers of the film were planning to launch the trailer on July 12, but since one of the songs from the film got leaked online, Farah thought it was best to officially release the trailer ahead of schedule.
One of the highly anticipated films of the year, ‘Joker’ has been directed by Shirish Kunder and produced by Akshay’s Hari Om productions along with Farah Khan’s Three’s Company. The film also stars Shreyas Talpade, Minnisha Lamba and Asrani in leading roles.
By the looks of the trailer, this film looks like an adventure comedy set in a village called Paglapur which incidentally does not exist on the Indian map. Aliens also feature predominantly on the trailer which adds to its mystery level.
This would be the second outing for Akshay and Sonakshi together after ‘Rowdy Rathore’ which smashed all Box Office records this year. And we feel, ‘Joker’ will match up to ‘Rowdy Rathore’ in every possible way!
