WATCH: Karan Johar’s plump and lively ‘Gippi’ in first official trailer

New Delhi: Karan Johar, who is famous for his stereotype masala entertainer movies, is all set to surprise his audiences by his upcoming teenage drama, ‘Gippi’. The Dharma Production’s film – which is based on teenagers – stars Riya vij, Divya Dutta and Taaha Shah in the main roles. The movie is directed by Sonam Nair, who has earlier worked with Karan Johar in ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Dostana’. This movie is all about a chubby 13-year-old girl named ‘Gippi’ and her endless endeavours to match up to the hot slim girls of her school. The perky trailer shows a teenager’s efforts to adjust with her changing body, school crushes and best friends. This flick is set to hit the theatres on 10th May 2013.
