Talking about the film, Arjun said: "I am happy that I am doing this film. Prakash Jha is one of my favourite directors. It is a beautiful script.. it deals with issues that are relevant today.. the whole Naxal movement happening in country. It is very relatable, strong and powerful subject. This issue is something people should know which will be dealt in the film."
Esha Gupta who rose to fame through ‘Jannat 2’ takes the de-glam route in the film. She too plays a cop but sans any flashy make up. The actress worked hard to shed her glamourous image. She has even done some action scenes including a helicopter stunt which was shot in Pachmarhi.
