New Delhi: After a series of unforgettable films, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma is back to entertain the audience this time with ‘Bhoot Returns’, which is believed to be a sequel to the super hit horror flick ‘Bhoot’ starring Urmila Matondkar, Ajay Devgn and Rekha in lead roles. The trailer of the movie opens up with these ‘haunting’ words: “Some people can’t wait to move into new houses and some houses can’t wait for new people to move in”, thus erupting a spooky feeling while also hinting at what to expect from the sequel. The trailer features a little girl playing with a partly visible spirit in the living room. What is more interesting about the scene (dated May 2012) is that it is being captured on a webcam much like the ‘Paranormal Activity’ series. Also, Ramu has made use of optical illusion to lend a frightening effect to the little girls’ image on the movie’s poster.
Ram Gopal Verma hopes to make better money this year at the Box Office via ‘Bhoot Returns’ and undo all his bad direction work which resulted in a chain of flops in the recent times. This film will see Manisha Koirala, J. D Chakravarthy, Madhu Shalini and Alayana Sharma in prominent roles when it opens in theatres worldwide on October 12 this year.
