Mumbai: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan played Santa Clause when one of the assistant directors of his forthcoming film ‘Agneepath’ lost her cell phone on the sets.
The actor gifted the assistant director (AD) an iPhone, after she lost her phone during the shoot in Diu.
"This was about ten days ago. The pace of the schedule was hectic due to the complex scenes being shot. And apart from the huge unit, a good number of locals too had gathered to see the shoot. Bharati (Kandhari, the AD) must have left her mobile somewhere, and in all the chaos someone must have flicked it," said a source.
"Needless to say, the youngest of director Karan Malhotra`s assistants was immensely saddened at losing her phone. She was extremely upset and everyone, including Hrithik, noticed this," he said.
"Over the weekend, Hrithik had to fly back to Mumbai for the dance reality television show `Just Dance` that he`s judging. That`s when he ordered an iphone for Bharati, and got it especially gift-wrapped for her," added the source.
