When Ranveer Singh spat on Sonakshi Sinha!

Sonakshi Sinha walked out of the sets of her upcoming film ‘Lootera’ when her co-actor Ranveer Singh accidentally spat on her face.

New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha – who has worked with big names in the industry since her Bollywood debut with ‘Dabangg’ in 2010 – is said to have walked out of the sets of her upcoming film ‘Lootera’ when her co-actor Ranveer Singh accidentally spat on her face while delivering a dialogue. "She got so angry with me that she stormed out of the sets of the film. It has never happened to me before," DNA quoted Ranveer as saying. Recalling the incident, Ranveer said “There is a scene where I hold Sonakshi tightly and yell `You called the police?` I was in the skin of the character at that time and so the intensity was such that spit came out each time I said the dialogue.” Even after warnings during rehearsals, Sonakshi walked out of the sets in a fit of rage when the incident happened. As for Ranveer – who made his Bollwyood debut opposite Anushka Sharma in the 2010 Yash Raj film ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ - admitted that he had a tough time pacifying his co-star afterwards so that the shooting could resume. Releasing on July 5, the period film ‘Lootera’ is partly based on O’Henry’s short story ‘The Last Leaf’.
