Mumbai: The crowd at Mumbai Film City recently went crazy when the word spread that Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were to shoot at the location on two adjacent sets at the same time.
It was truly an extraordinary moment as Salman came to the location dressed in tees, denims, and a keffiyeh around his neck and people all around waited in anticipation for Aishwarya.
Said a source from the unit, “Film City was buzzing with excitement since morning. As soon as word spread that Salman and Aishwarya were expected to shoot, hushed whispers did the rounds about the possibility of the stars crossing paths.”
But, unluckily, nothing of that sort happened. Salman was there for the music video shoot of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and Ash came to shoot with Akshay Kumar for the actor’s new cookery show ‘MasterChef’.
Perhaps Ash and Salman knew of each other’s presence as none of them ventured out of their sets for fear of bumping into each other. Salman, who is known to walk about on the sets in between his shots, too kept busy with the shoot under the direction of Milan Luthria and choreographer Pony Verma.
Instead of stretching his legs in Film City, Salman stayed on the sets and avoided yet another controversy in the waiting!
