Writer claims `Enthiran` is his idea; files police complaint

Chennai: A Tamil writer-cum-journalist today filed a complaint with Chennai police accusing the makers of Rajnikant-starrer `Enthiran` (Eobot) with `stealing` the story idea from a piece written by him in 1996.

Aarur Tamil Nadan alias Amutha Tamil Nadan, filed a complaint with the police today alongwith his advocates, alleging director Shankar and producer Kalanithi Maran of lifting the plot from his work, `Jugiba,` which he said was published in a magazine in 1996. He told reporters that the the plot had been taken from his work. He had sent legal notices to the producers of the film. PTI
