Stephenie Meyer may pen more vampire books

Melbourne: Bill Condon, the Oscar-nominated director of the next two ‘Twilight’ sequels, has predicted that Stephenie Meyer, who is the author of the vampire saga, may write more vampire books.
But the two main characters, Bella Swan, and vampire Edward Cullen, will not be part of future books.

“It’s the end of the Bella/Edward story,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Condon as saying at the comic book mega convention, Comic-Con, in San Diego.

“Especially in the second movie (New Moon) there are so many new characters I expect she’ll want to revisit them at some point,” he revealed.

With the final two ‘Twilight’ films, ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 1’ and ‘Breaking Dawan - Part 2’ set to be released over the next two years, there have been speculations that Meyer might end the franchise.

Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be released in November and Part 2 is scheduled for release November 2012.
