Thiruvananthapuram: It’s good news for all those who loved reading ‘A Suitable Boy’, as Vikram Seth’s next magnum opus ‘A Suitable Girl’ is all set to release in 2013.
While talking to a news daily at the first edition of Hay Literary Festival, the authour of famous book ‘The Golden Gate’ said that his new book will “revisit the family in ‘A Suitable Boy’".
The authour denies that the changing socio-economic affairs in India will not affect his sequel. He said, ``I don`t think so. It may not include those items except indirectly.``
Explaining about the characters in his story, Seth said, "The story of `A Suitable Boy` is 60 years old and many of the characters would obviously have grown old," and added ,``I don`t intend to fill all the gaps.``
Seth said that he hasn’t revisited his book, ‘A Suitable Boy’ as he thinks it is far too big. But he knows he has to do it.
The authour also talked about his love for writing poetries. It is just that he has not been publishing them.
