New Delhi: Satirical comedy 'Finding Fanny' is set to release soon. The movie stars Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

Director Homi Adjania has made the film based on his own short story. Now, reports are that the co-writer for the movie, Kersi Khambatta, has adapted the story into a novel. A leading daily reported that the novel may release in the coming year.

Infact, Homi has apparently asked Kersi to wait to go to the publishers till the film is released. He says that the movie was their first priority an that working on the book helped the filmmaking team to make a 'Fuller and fatter' script.

The movie is about five quirky characters in the sleepy village of Pocolim. They go out on a trip to find the long last girlfriend, Fanny Fernandez, of one of the characters.
