In an interview exclusively to Zee Media, the legendary actress spoke about her book and more.
While the actress said she is thankful to the young brigade of fans, she believes that people remember her more because of her old films in the past. She connects more with the historical than with the contemporary.
From the films that she has done in the recent past - `Om Jai Jagdish', `Rang De Basanti`, 'Delhi 6', she feels that though her role was short in `RDB` it had an impact. She tries to portray as much different roles as possible so that the audiences can remember her for her versatility.
Speaking about her book, she said that it is based on her real life and not just as a star that people know her to be. The turning point in her book, Waheeda said is the phase that is important to any woman's life --marriage.
`Conversations With Waheeda` has been written by biographer and film historian Nasreen Munni Kabir that looks back at her life and career.
