DeGeneres` wife Portia to pen memoirs

DeGeneres` wife Portia is ready to open up about her private life in tell-all.

London: Ellen DeGeneres` wife Portia de Rossi is ready to open up about her private life in a tell-all book, which will include her struggles with her sexuality and her battle with an eating disorder.
The Aussie actress, born Amanda Lee Rogers, has sealed a deal to publish her memoirs, which will describe her life when she discovered she was a lesbian, and her public ``outing`` while she was starring in the popular sitcom Ally McBeal. The book will also spell out her battle with anorexia. "I’m writing a book. It’ll be published in the fall, so... I have to be done with it before then. It will deal with all the secrets that nearly killed me. Nobody can really get inside the anorexic’s mind like the anorexic," a daily quoted her as telling a mag. She added: "My mother thought I would be a writer. When I started writing little notes to Ellen, she said, ``You should be a writer.`` Which is very encouraging and very sweet." ANI
