Hrithik Roshan is one of the few numbered titans of Bollywood. Born to acclaimed filmmaker and former actor Rakesh Roshan and his wife Pinky, Hrithik worked had to polish the acting genes he inherited. While his father Rakesh Roshan is the son of popular music director Roshan; his mother too comes from a film background and is the daughter of veteran producer and director J Omprakash. Elder of the two, Hrithik has a sister Sunaina. An alumnus of the Bombay Scottish School, he graduated from Sydenham collage with a degree in B Com (H).After doing a couple of small roles during his childhood, it was the super-hit mega-budget flick, ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, that marked his entry into Bollywood. The film not only broke past records it also pumped in a fresh lease of talent into Bollywood. His very debut film not only brought him the best debutant award but also bagged him the best actor award for the year 2000. Thereafter, the actor did some flicks like Yaadein, Fiza, which fared badly at the Box Office. However, being the fast learner that he is; the dishy actor decided to opt for a few selected roles only. And while some of his flicks like Kabhi Khushi Kahie Gham, Mission Kashmir, Mujhse Dosti Karoge did decent business, many others like Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar went on to create BO history.
