On June 26, 1985, Arjun was born to Boney Kapoor, the famous film producer and Mona Shourie Kapoor. He made his acting debut in Habib Faisal's 'Ishaqzaade'. He is the nephew of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor.
Actress Sridevi is his step-mother.
