Kylie Minogue

Born to Ronald Charles Minogue, an accountant of Irish ancestry and Carol Ann, Kylie started her career from a very tender age. Eldest of three siblings, Kylie attended Camberwell High School with her younger sister Danii, who is also a well established pop singer. Even though she started her career at twelve, her achievements were overshadowed by that of her sisters. Her act in ‘Neighbours’, a television show in 1986 gave her wider popularity. Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. Her hospitalization and treatment in Melbourne got intense media coverage. Minogue underwent surgery and after recovery, thanked her fans for their support during her tough times.
