`Pinocchio` actor Richard Percy Jones passes away at 87

Richard Percy Jones, the actor who gave his voice to Disney`s 1940 animated classic ` Pinocchio` has died. He was 87.

Fred Corral from Los Angeles Coroner`s Office investigation division, who said that the old man was found dead by his wife on the bathroom floor of their Northridge home in California.
Jones was declared dead at the scene by the paramedics and the cause of death is still to be determined. Jones, who was better known as Dickie or Dick Jones, had also performed on the songs `Give a Little Whistle,` `Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee` and `I`ve Got No Strings` in the Disney film as a child star. Born February 25 in 1927, he had started his career with an un-credited role 1934`s `Burn `Em Up Barnes`, and had went on to act small roles in several film and TV projects, including parts in the `Our Gang` film series, and played the title character in 1955-56`s `Buffalo Bill Jr.` Jones` last work as an actor was in the 1965 film `Requiem for a Gunfighter.`
