Mumbai: The football World Cup fever might have just passed, but it seems that Bollywood still has a soft corner for the sport.
The biggies of B-Town – Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan came together for a friendly celebrity football match organised by Aamir`s daughter Ira. Salman Khan and `Kick` co-star Jacqueline Fernandez also graced the event with their presence.
Although Aamir`s team won the match, it was a feast for both teams` fans watching their favourite stars in action for a good cause. Salman, one of the big names of Tinsel Town as far as philanthrophy is concerned also came in support of his long time friend Aamir and his daughter`s fund raiser.
The match was played to invite people from all spheres to donate for a animal welfare organisation via the match held at the Cooperage Football Ground in Mumbai. Other stars who gave a hand for the cause were Imran Khan, Tiger Shroff, Sohail Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Sushanth Singh, Nargis Fakhri and Dino Morea.
Contributors to the cause are also being given rewards such as spending time with Imran Khan, who is a regular contributor for the foundation or a day at the sets of Aamir Khan and Anoushka Sharma starrer `PK`, among others.
It sure is a fantastic way to enjoy the Mumbai rains while doing good for the world! Great going Bollywood!
