Aamir Khan to set up `script-department` in office

New Delhi: Superstar Aamir Khan, one of the most successful actor-producers in Bollywood, is inundated with scripts and is planning to hire more people in his office to read them.

He has produced blockbuster hits like `Lagaan`, `Taare Zameen Par` and `Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na` and now more people are keen to get the 45-year-old actor to turn their scripts into films.

"Personally he has no time to go through all the scripts. On an average Aamir Khan Productions gets around 8 to 10 scripts a day. But he likes to give respect to all that come in and would like someone to shortlist at least send a response letter to all writers," said a source close to the actor.

Most of the scripts that have landed in his office are for production and not necessarily for him as actor. The `3 Idiots` star doesn`t want any one to be ignored and so he has planned to set up a separate department for them.

"Since there are so many scripts, he wants to hire few people who have knowledge of scripts and also who are good judge of them and are able to shortlist and handle the scripts department for him," the source added.
