Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan may have had very few films to prove his acting prowess, but the son of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, does have a handful of noteworthy projects that have helped him strengthen his roots in the Tinsel Town.
The actor, who was launched by JP Dutta opposite Kareena Kapoor in ‘Refugee’ in 2000, delivered a number of duds, until he bagged Mani Ratnam’s ‘Yuva’ four years down the line.
The film in question gave a new lease of life to Abhi’s career. The actor recalled the enriching experience of working for the film and took to Twitter to share the same. He tweeted:
10yrs since the release of YUVA. A film that changed it all for me. Very special. Will listen to the soundtrack with fond memories.

Since ‘Yuva’, Junior Bachchan’s graph moved upward, with films like ‘Bunty Aur Bubli’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Guru’, ‘Dostana’ and last but not the least ‘Paa’.
Shot in Kolkata, ‘The City Of Joy’, ‘Yuva’ also starred Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles.
With ‘Yuva’ completing a decade now, here’s wishing Aby Baby many more super-hit films in the times to come.
