Filmmaker-actor-singer Farhan Akhtar enthralled his female fan following recently by belting out some of the popular songs from his hit film ‘Rock On’.

Mumbai: Filmmaker-actor-singer Farhan Akhtar enthralled his female fan following here Friday evening by belting out some of the popular songs from his 2008 hit film ‘Rock On’.

The live concert was organized by a cosmetic brand and was meant specially for women, who screamed and went weak-kneed when they saw their favourite actor performing songs like ‘Rock on!’, ‘Socha hai’, ‘Pichle saat dinon mein’ and ‘Tum ho toh’ among others just for them. The 37-year-old was joined by Indian band Ashwamedh as well as playback singer Aditi Singh Sharma. "I am happy to be part of this event, which gives me the opportunity to perform tracks from my film live after more than two and a half years. I think this is a really innovative way of encouraging girls to have fun in the sun. "It`s also a great opportunity for girls to have a blast this summer, while the boys remain glued to the TV screens this cricket season," Farhan, dressed casually in beige cargoes and a dark grey full sleeve t-shirt and a scarf around his neck, told reporters.
