Actor Moyer enjoyed London riots news coverage

Los Angeles: "True Blood" actor Stephen Moyer has said he enjoyed watching news coverage of the "exciting" London riots.

Violence began Aug 6 in London`s northern district of Tottenham after the killing of a suspected drug-dealer taxi driver by police. Rioters started stalking streets, looting stores and burning buildings.

A host of celebrities, including singer Annie Lennox and comedian Russell Brand, have condemned the violence. However, Los Angeles-based Moyer, who grew up in Essex, Britain, claimed he`s revelling in a "bit of anarchy", reports

"It`s exciting, isn`t it? I love it, it`s a bit of anarchy! It`s like, I get my deckchair out and I sit on the street and make myself a cucumber sandwich and I sit down and I watch (video footage)," the 41-year-old said during an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Aug 11.

"It`s like violent dinner theatre. We`re quite a secular, boring bunch in England and I think it`s quite interesting to have a bit of a revolution," he added.
