Adele ‘very happy’ after throat surgery
London: Adele has said that she is happy with her recent throat surgery and is recuperating well.
The singer had an operation in the US to cure her vocal chords after she was forced to cancel all her tour dates due to voice problems.
“I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and positive with it all,” the Sun quoted her as saying on her blog.
“The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all-clear from my doctors,” she wrote.
The singer thanked her fans for her recent awards and ended her post on a humorous note.
“Thank you to everyone who voted for the awards I’ve won recently,” Adele wrote.
“I best get back to practising my mime show,” she said.
