Mumbai: It's just been a fortnight when the entire country swayed to the tunes of Sachin Tendulkar’s bat as he scored his much-awaited 100th ODI century against Bangladesh. And amidst speculations of whether the cricketer will retire or not, the fresh piece of news that we have on him is sure to set many eyes popping out with surprise. Tendulkar might just leave his bat and take up a position in front of directors’ cameras!
Do not unleash your horses yet. ‘Ton’dulkar might be seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ – the movie which has already created a stir in the country, what with Vidya Balan doing an ‘aesthetic’ item number and Sharman Joshi delivering his brilliant performance. Add to that the God of Cricket. Seems like Vidhu Vinod Chopra is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that his venture turns out to be a smashing hit!
In ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’, the Little Master has apparently been roped in for a cameo. But from the way speculations are doing the rounds of the industry, we might just be able to see Tendulkar in a longer and more important role than just an insipid cameo. The grapevine is churning out observations that Sachin’s big break in Bollywood will happen – courtesy ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’. No, we just can’t wait to see Tendulkar swinging his bat to the rhythm of a Bollywood song. And we’re sure none of you can, either!
