Zee Media Bureau/Ritika Handoo New Delhi: The Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia controversy has scaled a new high, after latter`s father Nusli Wadia registered a complaint with NM Joshi Marg police station alleging that he received threatening calls from an unknown person. The latest reports suggest that post this complaint, Ness has been given security by the Maharashtra police. According to reports, it has been learnt that not only Nusli but even two secretaries of the the Wadia Group received phone calls from the person. Reportedly, one of the secretaries got an SMS stating, "Don`t do any mischief with the lady." In his complaint, Nusli claimed that the caller (reportedly Ravi Pujari`s gang) threatened to harm the Wadia Group’s interest if the ‘harassment’ of Preity Zinta were to continue. The Mumbai Police has forwarded the complaint to anti-extortion cell. Meanwhile, continuing its investigation into the case the Marine Drive police have sought copies of the e-mails Zinta sent to Ness Wadia. She had apparently warned her former beau to keep away from her. The Police are probing the matter to figure out if the issue fits in into section 354 (d) of the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013. The police may slap the charge of stalking Preity despite repeated warnings from her.
