Aishwarya Rai extends an olive branch to Aamir Khan

Mumbai: After years of cold war and snubbing each other at social events, Aishwarya Rai and Aamir Khan have settled their issues. The two stars, who had fallen apart during the shoot of ‘Mangal Pandey’ wherein after developing certain issues Ash had abandoned the project at the last minute, made peace with each other. Present at Akshay Kumar’s 10th wedding anniversary bash, Ash and Aamir were seen bonding like nothing ever happened. Confirming the news, a source from the party told a tabloid, “Aishwarya had come much before Aamir arrived. Normally, Ash leaves most parties in not more than 10 minutes. However, at this one, when she learnt that Aamir and Kiran were on their way, Ash decided to wait. When Aamir and Kiran arrived, Aishwarya met Aamir and spoke to him warmly. They discussed quite a few things including Kiran`s film Dhobi Ghat. Both Ash and Aamir were together at the party for some time but Aamir had to leave early, so he left with Kiran.” The source further said, “Aamir has always been on very good terms with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and would meet up with him whenever he could. However, there has been a problem between Ash and him for the longest time, which finally seems to have ended.” Well we hope to see the two come together for a film.
