Aishwarya Rai praises PM designate Narendra Modi

Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai, reportedly heaped praise on India’s PM designate Narendra Modi.

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai, who has been making stunning appearances at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, has not just floored onlookers out there with her mesmerising beauty, but has also voiced her opinion about the recently concluded 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. The former Miss World, reportedly heaped praise on India’s PM designate Narendra Modi. The model-turned-actress is believed to have said that she is thrilled to see the former Chief Minister of Gujarat emerge victorious. She strongly believes that India has a bright future under his leadership. She also congratulated Modi for his victory. Aishwarya’s words for Modi aren’t surprising, as her father-in-law and megastar Amitabh Bachchan did several ad campaigns for Gujarat Tourism. Though he has refrained from making any affiliation to any political party in the recent past, his equation with the soon to be sworn-in Prime Minister of India is known to one and all. A number of people from the Tinsel Town have openly praised Modi despite the existence of strong critics of the politician within the fraternity. And with Aishwarya joining the club, the Modi camp in Bollywood has only grown stronger.
