Mumbai: Ajay Devgn Monday launched his online venture Ticketplease.com here and said that he will blog for the website and interact with fans.
The portal will provide tickets for movies, plays and sporting events. It will also offer entertainment news, features, interviews, reviews and blogs.
"I am delighted to bring to the audience a website where they can read authentic news about their favourite stars and much-awited films. Being a part of the website, I will be taking keen interest in it. I will also be blogging for Ticketplease.com and interacting with my fans," said Ajay.
Veteran journalist Bhavna Somaiya is the editor-in-chief of the site and the company`s directors include filmmaker Nitin Manmohan, CEO and founder Jimmy Mistry, Ramakant Tibrewal, Amit Sharma and actor Vatsal Sheth, apart from Ajay.
Sanjay Dutt, who is also a director and promoter of Ticketplease.com, could not attend the event but sent his message through an AV to mark his presence.
Also present at the event were actors Dharmendra and Sunny Deol to launch the site with Ajay and to promote their upcoming film "Yamla Pagla Deewana".
"During our times, we had to stand in the lines and keep waiting to get the tickets. Sometimes even our clothes used to get torn in the process, even then it never used to be guaranteed that we`ll get the ticket. But now it has become much easier owing to such sites," Dharmendra told reporters here.
