Mumbai: Actors Kajal Agarwal and Akshay Kumar made the best of their Punjabi roots while shooting for ‘Special Chabbis’. The duo was seen bonding on Punjabi food and even spoke to each other in Punjabi.
Kajal was teased by Akshay for her anglicised Punjabi accent, and they shared a good laugh together often, said a source.
"The two love Punjabi food and were seen talking in Punjabi and having a good time on the sets. Akshay teased her about her accent while she spoke in Punjabi and she was full of praise for his Bhangra," the source said.
In the film, Akshay and Kajal have danced together to a Punjabi wedding number "Gore mukhde pe zulfaan". The film releases Feb 8.
